Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 9, 2026

BINURA does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Period.

Overview

BINURA ("the App") is a binaural frequency instrument developed and published by Collin ("we," "us," or "our"). This privacy policy explains how the App handles user information. The short version: it doesn't. The App is designed from the ground up to function entirely on your device with zero data collection.

Information we collect

None. The App does not collect any information of any kind. Specifically:

Information we share

Nothing. Since we collect no data, there is no data to share with any third party. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user information with anyone for any purpose.

Third-party services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs embedded in the App that collect user data. The App does not display advertisements of any kind.

Data storage

Any preferences or settings you configure within the App (such as frequency selections or playlist data) are stored locally on your device using standard browser or operating system storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Network usage

The App does not require an internet connection to function. All audio generation and frequency processing occurs entirely on your device. The only network requests the App may make are for standard system updates through the platform's app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store), which are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no data whatsoever, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data. The App is suitable for all ages.

Health disclaimer

BINURA presents frequency combinations informed by published research in neuroscience, acoustics, and brainwave entrainment. The App is not a medical device and does not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional before using binaural beats if you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder.

Your rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, delete, or port. You are in complete control of any local data stored on your device, which you can clear at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage through your device settings.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data practices (for example, if a future version introduces optional cloud features), we will update this privacy policy before those changes take effect and notify users through the App or app store update notes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
